There are no requirements to have Zoom installed on your computer if you are attending a Zoom meeting. Zoom meetings can be accessed in a browser by a user who would otherwise download an application or install it from the Web instead. Zoom users will be able to join a meeting or webinars using a desktop application running on Zoom without being forced to install Zoom.

There is little or no functionality to the Zoom web client. If you wish to save the download, you can choose the location on your computer.

The ZoomInstaller will appear once the download is complete. After you run the Zoom software, it will begin downloading. Join a Zoom meeting very easily with no download required for members: just click on a meeting link provided by the host. Furthermore, the Zoom desktop app allows users to begin, join, and schedule meetings in seconds.

Unless you choose this option, Zoom will require you to download and install it when you click a Join Link that pops up. Zoom meetings, webinars, and other online virtual meeting tools allow you to attend a virtual meeting without downloading.
